2008 Form SF-SAC Notice - The Form SF-SAC for audits with fiscal periods ending in 2008-2010 will be available on-line at this website on or before August 30, 2008. Consequently, if a 2008 audit is completed before the 2008 Form SF-SAC is available, auditees may not be able to meet the thirty day deadline prescribed by OMB Circular A-133 §.320(a) to submit the complete reporting package. Reporting packages for 2008 audits should not be submitted until the 2008 SF-SAC form is available at this website. OMB has granted an extension to September 15, 2008 for the submission of reporting packages to the Clearinghouse for 2008 audits that are due on or before that date. No application to apply for this extension is necessary. The extension only applies to single audits for fiscal periods ending in 2008.

The Federal Audit Clearinghouse operates on behalf of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and its primary purposes are:

To disseminate audit information to Federal agencies and the public.
To support OMB oversight and assessment of Federal award audit requirements.
To assist Federal cognizant and oversight agencies in obtaining OMB Circular A-133 data and reporting packages.
To help auditors and auditees minimize the reporting burden of complying with Circular A-133 audit requirements.
