Build-a-Table Example


Create a table that contains data on full-time employees and full-time pay for local police employees in callifornica in 2007.

  1. Select the radio button next to "Geography" and select "California" from the drop down menu

  2. Select "Next"
  3. Select "2007" in the "Year" category
  4. Select "Full-time Employees" and "Full-time Pay" in the "Variables" category
  5. Select "All Local" in the "Level of Government" category
  6. Select "Police Protection Total", "Police Officers Only" and "Other Police Employees" from the "Government Function" category

  7. Select "Submit"
  8. The above steps will give you the following table
